Registered Psychotherapist

Online Psychotherapy in English & Spanish · Adults

Introduction

You may be coming to therapy because something feels overwhelming, because the same patterns keep showing up, or because you are facing a change and feel unsure about what comes next. You may also know that something needs to change without knowing where to begin.

I offer a space where we can make sense of what you are experiencing and find practical ways to move forward. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I listen closely, share my perspectives, and ask questions that help us look more deeply at what may be keeping you stuck.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, workplace stress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also support people navigating the challenges of living between cultures, adjusting to a new country, or finding a sense of belonging.

I offer psychotherapy in both English and Spanish. Being able to explore your experiences in the language that feels most comfortable to you can be an important part of the therapeutic relationship.

My approach

I believe therapy should help you understand yourself while also giving you something useful to bring into your everyday life. Together, we explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns shaping your current difficulties, while developing skills to manage emotions, communicate your needs, and respond differently to challenging situations.

My approach draws from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic and attachment-based perspectives. I adapt our work to your needs and goals, rather than expecting you to fit one particular approach.

There is room for both practical problem-solving and deeper exploration. We may work on boundaries, self-criticism, or managing distress, while also considering how past experiences influence the way you relate to yourself and others.

My background

I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology from Florida Atlantic University. I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and certified in dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT).

I bring over 15 years of clinical experience, including work with first responders, individuals experiencing workplace injuries and occupational stress, and people living with addiction, co-occurring mental health concerns, and acquired brain injuries.

Continuing education is an ongoing part of my practice. I regularly participate in courses and clinical training to deepen my skills and bring new knowledge into my work with clients.

Having lived in Argentina, the United States, and Canada, I bring a bilingual and bicultural perspective to my work. These experiences inform my understanding of identity, adjustment, and the many ways our surroundings shape our lives.
